Messages of Sympathy

Sorry to hear about Gary. We heard through the grapvine (friends in Utica) yesterday. Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family.

Gary,Karen,and boys.

Hi Joan ; Barbara called us while we were at NYC and we came this earlier morning and tried to reach you .We are very sorry . Please let us know if anything we can help you. Love from Kay.

JOAN & FAMILY,
I'm so sorry to hear that Gary passed away.
Being out of contact with him, I did not know he was ill. We worked a long time with the boys on ward 58. We were all a great team. He always had us in stitches with his jokes & pranks. He was a joy to work with, and a good friend. We will remember him in our prayers, with fond memories.

-Betty Buck & Family

Gary was the Best Man for our Wedding, and one of the Best Men we ever can hope to meet. He was a true friend, though I must admit that we have not continued contact with either Gary,or his devoted wife Joan, for which we truely regret.
Gary was my mentor when I first came home from Viet Nam and started to work at Utica State Hospital. He gained my respect when I first noticed his caring for both the patients in his care and his devotion to his job. Gary was never one to "Blow his own Horn",and if his work went unnoticed by the "Powers that be",it was never unnoticed by those of us that had the priviledge of both working with him and calling him friend.
Gary held within him the true love of life, and he also carried the wonderful Irish humor of his ancestors.I truely regret that I never spoke these words to Gary.Shame on me.When we meet again I am sure that he will forgive me.That is the essence of Gary.
It is with great sympathy that I leave this message to Gary's wife Joan, and his family. No one need tell you what a great Man and Patriot Gary was.But both Linda and I wanted you all to know that no matter how many years have past, nor our lack of keeping in contact,we will never forget how much Gary meant to us or all of you.
To Gary,Rest In Peace, and Thank You for Being You.
With Deepest Sympathy to Joan and your Family, and Until We Meet Again,Bob and Linda.

Hi Joan,
I'm so sorry to hear of Gary's death. My sympathy goes out to you and your children during this difficult time. I know that he's been sick for a long time. May God shower Gary with His love! My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May you all find peace in knowing that Gary is no longer in pain, and is in heaven now.
If there is anything I can do for you, please call me Joan. My number is 337-6388.
Love,
Barbara
